We were born of innovation, springing from the curiosity, imagination and dedication of remarkable scientists and healthcare visionaries. Our shared mission is to challenge the inevitability of genetic disease by discovering, developing, and delivering treatments in ways unimaginable – until now.

We don’t follow footsteps. We create the path.

We are seeking a senior NGS scientist who will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and running NGS workflows in Analytical Development.  This candidate will play a key role in executing NGS methods for viral vector-based therapies.  S/he will collaborate with other scientists to implement NGS methods for AAV gene therapy product characterization and optimization of AAV platforms.

The candidate will:

  • Develop and/or optimize NGS workflows for product characterization used in regulatory submission
  • Conduct experiments to support process development and platform development including NGS workflow automation (including DNA extraction and library synthesis)
  • Regularly interact with informatics scientists to develop and implement robust data processing pipelines
  • Be responsible for timely execution of experiments and interpretation of data
  • Keep accurate, clear, and updated notebooks and records
  • Help to maintain and troubleshoot NGS equipment
  • Provide input on design of new assays in Analytical Development and help to troubleshoot experiments
