The Corporate Facilities Architecture & Design Lead will be tasked with developing and maintaining Design Guidelines and Standards, working with internal stakeholders, real estate and senior management, and working with outside A/E/I design professionals through all project phases. This includes defining an idea and business case through project commissioning and final handover to business units.

An ideal candidate will have solid conceptual thinking, intellectual curiosity, and analytical skills, with a strong background in project management, programming, building codes, documentation and design. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, PhotoShop and/or other design programs that will assist in effectively communicating material and ideas with key internal stakeholders and outside building owners and design consultants. Highly preferred are individuals who have had owner/client project management experience, as well as, experience at design firms handling document production, design presentations, and construction administration services. LEED certification and professional licensure or certifications (architecture, interior design) are a plus.







  • Excellent communication skills, knowing how to speak with audience.
  • Develop and maintain corporate design guidelines and standards and compare to peer organizations within same market sector.
  • Oversee design consistency (test fit / concept / basis of design) to ensure Spark space and design standards are maintained and employed.
  • Support socialization of space standards and occupancy trends with key business stakeholders.
  • Participate in project reviews and continually try to improve efficiency and reduce cost without impacting project or design intent.
  • Develop conceptual design ideas and presentations and participate in BoD and SoW for key-stakeholder signoff. 
  • Participate in the interview and select design consultants, contractors and other 3rd party vendors.
  • Evaluate and critique the progress of design development, project scope, budget and schedule.
  • Participates in design review meetings.
  • Participates and leads furniture reviews and selections
  • Submittal & RFI reviews pertaining to Furniture
  • Cost estimating for furniture, branding, signage
  • Branding design/coordination with Spark graphics vendor 



  • Support periodic / recurring utilization studies and analysis to inform future state needs and opportunities for efficiencies
  • Collect all Pre and Post-occupancy metrics; provide analysis and benchmarking. 




  • Work closely with Real Estate team to develop and space plans for both leased and owned real estate within company portfolio.
  • Participate in developing programming with key client decision-makers.
  • Participate in site selection and develop or oversee feasibility studies and testfits. 




  • Bachelor degree required. 
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Interior Architecture experience required.
  • NCIDQ/CID required
  • Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) experience required.
  • Revit, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max and other modeling software programs experience required.
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
  • LEED/Fitwel experience preferred
  • Experience in all phases of design, documentation, and construction administration
