We were born of innovation, springing from the curiosity, imagination and dedication of remarkable scientists and healthcare visionaries. Our shared mission is to challenge the inevitability of genetic disease by discovering, developing, and delivering treatments in ways unimaginable – until now.

We don’t follow footsteps. We create the path.

We are seeking a scientist who will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and running our Mass Spectrometry workflows in Analytical Development.  This scientist will play a key role in designing and executing MS methods for viral vector-based therapies.  S/he will collaborate with other scientists to implement MS methods for AAV gene therapy product characterization and optimization of AAV platforms.

The scientist will:

  • Develop and/or optimize protein identification (host-cell protein, intact mass, peptide mapping) workflows for product characterization
  • Conduct experiments to support process development and platform development
  • Be responsible for timely execution of experiments and interpretation of data
  • Keep accurate, clear, and updated notebooks and records
  • Help to maintain and troubleshoot MS and related equipment
  • Provide input on design of new assays in Analytical Development and help to troubleshoot experiments
  • Author and review technical reports and SOPs
  • Collaborate with others within Process and Technology Development to support the pipeline

50%        Working in the lab to execute experiments and troubleshooting experiments/equipment

35%        Design experiments, maintain notebooks, discuss and interpret data

10%        Preparation of presentations for group meetings

5%          Mandatory trainings and group meetings
